Custom Dictionary

The dictionary lets your church define custom translation terms — church names, theological vocabulary, place names, and proper nouns that should always translate a specific way.

Open Account → Settings → Dictionary. Custom dictionary is available on Pro and Premium plans.

Where to find it

Dictionary lives under Account → Settings (not in the top navigation). Old bookmarks to /dictionary redirect there automatically.

How dictionary terms work

When live speech matches a dictionary source phrase, the target translation is substituted automatically during translation.

Forward-looking only

Dictionary entries apply to new live translation only. Past sessions in Sermon History keep the wording captured at recording time unless you edit them manually.

Add a term

  1. Enter the Original text (source language phrase).
  2. Enter the Translation (how it should appear).
  3. Click + Add.

Example: source 여호와 → target Yahweh

Edit or delete terms

  • Click the pencil icon to edit a term inline
  • Click the delete icon to remove a term

Use the search box to filter terms by original or translation text.

Import CSV

Bulk-import up to 500 terms from a CSV file:

  1. Click Import CSV
  2. Select a UTF-8 CSV file with two columns: source and target

CSV format
