OBS Integration
For streaming or recording paths that use OBS instead of (or alongside) ProPresenter.
If you have not copied your on-site caption link yet, start with the On-Site Captions overview.
Setup steps
- Sources panel → plus → Browser — name it (e.g. OmniWord captions).
- Paste the on-site caption HTTPS link you copied from Live.
- Set width and height to match your program canvas (commonly 1920 × 1080) so captions line up cleanly.
- Enable transparency when available — when OBS exposes a transparency toggle on the Browser source, enable it for clear alpha stacking; if your hardware path still flattens to black, lean on OmniWord's
&bg=…flags plus an OBS Chroma Key / Color Key filter per your usual streaming workflow. - Optional: turn on Shutdown source when not visible to trim CPU when that scene is tucked away.
Transparency vs chroma key
OmniWord serves a transparent page by default. If downstream routing strips alpha, append &bg=green for chroma, or &bg=black when you prefer luma key.
